Dior Polished Leather Dress Shoes — Style 426428

Four expressions of the Dior dress shoe in high-gloss polished black leather. Two silhouettes — the laceless CD loafer and the lace-up Derby — each rendered with the same mirror-polished upper and black rubber sole. The difference is in the toe, the lace, and the sole profile. Choose accordingly.

  • Upper material: High-gloss polished calfskin throughout all four styles — a lacquer-like finish that reads as patent leather without being patent; the surface reflects light in a single clean arc across the vamp
  • Sole: Black rubber outsole on all four; Colors 1 and 3 (loafers) have a standard profile sole; Color 4 (loafer variant) has a chunky lug sole with pronounced lateral tread — the only style with added stack height and grip texture
  • Packaging: Ships in Dior’s signature navy blue shoebox
  • Sizing: EU 39–44; men’s sizing

The Four Styles

  • Color 1 — CD Logo Loafer, Standard Sole (Style 426428): Slip-on loafer silhouette; a horizontal leather strap across the vamp carries a polished gold “CD” metal hardware buckle — Dior’s house monogram in its most legible form; the vamp strap is stitched to the shoe body with a second row of tonal topstitching below; round-squared toe; standard black rubber sole; the most formal and brand-forward of the four
  • Color 2 — Plain Toe Derby, No Hardware (Style 426427): Four-eyelet lace-up Derby with flat black leather laces threaded through gunmetal eyelets; plain smooth toe cap — no seam, no medallion, no hardware; the vamp is a single uninterrupted panel of polished leather; black rubber sole; the most minimal and versatile of the four — reads as a dress shoe first, a Dior shoe second
  • Color 3 — Apron Toe Derby, “Christian Dior” Tab (Style 426426): Four-eyelet lace-up Derby with the same flat black lace construction as Color 2, but the toe carries a center-front apron seam (moc toe / split toe effect) — a single stitched seam running vertically from the vamp tip; the lateral side panel has a small woven “CHRISTIAN DIOR” text tab stitched near the heel — the subtlest brand identifier of the four; black rubber sole; sits between Color 2’s minimalism and Color 1’s hardware emphasis
  • Color 4 — CD Logo Loafer, Lug Sole (Style 426425): Identical upper construction to Color 1 — same slip-on loafer silhouette, same gold CD hardware buckle on the vamp strap, same polished leather — but the sole is a chunky lug outsole with pronounced lateral tread blocks and noticeably greater stack height; the lug sole shifts the shoe from formal-only into smart-casual territory; the most streetwear-adjacent of the four despite carrying the same CD hardware

Loafer or Derby. Hardware or none. Flat sole or lug. The polish is the constant — everything else is a decision.
